Introducing Murals as a Tool for Change
Hi, my name is Dylan Kaplan. I am a Philadelphia suburban native and high school junior. I created this website to highlight the extensive murals that Philadelphia offers and showcase the community issues that many of the murals identify in their messages.
My family has always encouraged me to keep my eyes open and listen to learn and understand what others endure. As a result, I have become passionate about the housing insecurity issues plaguing our cities. It has led me to investigate innovative solutions, inquire about policies that affect affordability, and write about them on a blog called Quest4Home. With this nonprofit website, I hope to continue identifying ways to ignite meaningful changes and find ways to help support local programs in the process.

In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at an inner city youth program to provide athletic and academic support. I also enjoy watching the stock market, playing squash, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
